Life is better together
Proverbs 27:17
At Dalton First UMC, we believe life is better together. When you have a group of fellow believers you can "do life with," your celebrations can be made even better and you have a team to pray for you when you're down. Learning about and growing in Christ together can make life even more beautiful

Celebration
Celebration Class is just that… A celebration of our faith, our families
and our friendships where we lift up each other, our Church, and our community. We’re empty nesters, mostly 50’s and up, with many shared experiences; we welcome our life long friends and new friends alike. If you’re looking for an extended family where you can fellowship, learn, and serve… we are your People!

The McGaughey Class
The McGaughey Sunday School Class was formed over 50 years ago. Friends gathered in a social setting and decided to start a Sunday School Class. One of the group members was Willie McGaughey who passed away at a young age, but the legacy of the McGaughey Class continued. The class is known for faithful service to those in need and for its jovial atmosphere. “Love and Laughter” became our motto. In a very relaxed atmosphere, our class shares a variety of formats including video presentations, Bible Studies and devotional presentations. Come join us…We have a place for you!

God wanted His people to build His Temple, but they had other priorities and grew apathetic to His purposes. So God sent them a prophet named Haggai and his message was a wakeup call! Join Pastor Steven for this four-part Bible Study that will dive deep into the second shortest book in the Old Testament. Allow the Holy Spirit to stir up your devotion to God’s work again. Building God's Church isn't easy ~ but He promises He will be with us and empower us to expand His Kingdom on earth!
